Nada Surf review up on DiS

Would have been my record of the year so far if I hadn't heard The new National album today.
It's so good, and I'm seeing them at the Ballroom tomorrow.
Ultimo score, as they said in the early 2000's.

The Sister Ruby Band
Recieved a quick email this afternoon from a young London based band bringing out a new EP themselves.
It's good stuff, reminds me a little bit of Grant Lee Buffalo. The EP is called 'Shot in the dark', might be worth a dabble if you were A) Looking for a band to sign or B) Fond of alt-country and wanted to stretch your musical horizons a little. Here's a video, anyway. See what you think.
The Sister Ruby Band "Sweet Georgia" (live)
Is that an ES-5 copy? Nice
